    Plating on X-treame bullets

Well for those that say the plating sucks on X-treame Is full crap. Here is one of the first ones on my dillon 550b. I never reloaded with one and didn't know how touchy the crimping die is! The picture with just the 1 bullet is a .012 crimp and never broke the plating! Thanks Wes for all your help!!

Definitely very solid plating, I find it still stuck to the lead after shooting steel plates.

I have not had any issues with the plating on X-Treme bullets. I will take them over Berrys any day of the week and twice on match day.

Xtreme are very good bullets but I have found that if I lightly chamfer the mouth that I can load with very little bell and a very light crimp of bullet size + case dimension to get a much more accurate round. I use about 1/4 turn on a lee taper crimp which leaves no marks on the bullets.

Exactly! I put just enough flair on my 9mm so the bullet just barely grabs the brass. Then a very light taper crimp.
